Journeys Through Africa Website

I designed and developed a custom WordPress website for Journeys Through Africa, a travel company offering guided experiences across nine southern and eastern African countries. Aimed at international and domestic visitors, the site showcases a wide range of tailor-made tours, each with detailed descriptions, high-quality visuals, and standout experiences like gorilla trekking and desert safaris.

To prepare for future e-commerce functionality, I set up each tour as a custom WooCommerce product using advanced custom fields.

The design features four brand colours, custom icons, and a strong emphasis on imagery to inspire and inform. Each tour page includes a sticky gold navigation menu for ease of access, along with a compelling call-to-action and subscriber opt-in.

I also recommended expanding the tour content for better SEO and visitor engagement. The result is a scalable, easy-to-manage website built on custom post types, allowing the client to grow the site effortlessly over time.
